The Integrated Marketing and Brand Manager will lead our integrated marketing efforts at Voila nationally to pioneer new and innovative ways to drive customer acquisition, develop and execute integrated marketing plans, and drive performance results.  They will be responsible for overall planning, forecasting, and optimizing across the performance marketing budget to profitably acquire customers and support ongoing efforts to build brand awareness and business growth. They will also work with a cross functional team of internal/external/agency partners to activate across all channels from awareness, acquisition, and retention.

Job Description

  • Build and scale a complex digital and offline marketing plan for Voila, using insights to fuel creative solutions and incorporating analytical expertise to optimize performance and drive ROI.
  • Accountable for delivering target order volume and manages marketing performance, quickly adjusting plans as needed to meet business goals
  • Collaborate and proactively engage cross-functional partners to execute a fully integrated marketing strategy from paid digital media to organic/owned channels and ensure alignment.
  • Ensure consistent digital communication to consumers through marketing plans/programs in all internal and external marketing initiatives
  • Manage creation of timelines for work processes in preparation for regional launches and campaigns
  • Budget and Forecast: Responsible for budget management (multi-million dollar marketing budget) across channels and geographies to meet performance and business goals
  • Set growth and performance benchmarks and establish analytics and dashboarding for key performance criteria maintaining key performance metrics reports
  • Responsible for the management of vendor relationships with external vendors (agencies)
  • Collaborate with internal Voila and National Sobeys teams Team:
  • Actively identify opportunities for new high-potential channels to test and incorporate into the broad acquisition plan; utilize customer data and primary research findings
  • Coach and lead team members in the GTA and Quebec.

Job Requirements

•    A minimum of 5 to 8 years Performance and Growth Marketing experience in ecommerce, managing a national acquisition/integrated marketing program
•    Undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Economics, Applied Statistics or other quantitative field (MA or MBA preferred)
•    Significant experience managing multi-million-dollar direct response marketing budgets across all platforms and all device types
•    Recent experience with hands-on development and optimization of large-scale online acquisition campaigns (i.e. not agency managed).  Intimate knowledge and experience with Google Ads and Facebook is required.
•    Unparalleled analytical skills with the ability to promptly establish priorities and communicate expectations
•    Proven experience developing and scaling new digital programs, as well as monitoring and refining existing programs to meet the company’s objectives, strategies, and forecasts
•    Demonstrable expertise in search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media and digital advertising
•    Experience with lead generation/acquisition and digital campaign management
•    Relevant Google Marketing Platform Certifications required
•    Experience using Enterprise Digital Analytics platforms required, GA360 experience is preferred
•    Experience using enterprise level Content Management System (CMS) and CRM applications required
•    Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms
•    Basic technical understanding of HTML and strong SEO skill
•    Understanding of how content marketing, PR, e-mail marketing and social media interact and drive overarching business objectives and customer experience design goals
