Warehouse Associate – Ref # LAC-NT and CTH-SMO

The Career Foundation is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate on behalf of one of our employer partners; a Canadian manufacturer of down, feather, and down alternative bedding products.

• Location: North York, ON

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary/Wage: $15/hour

 Responsibilities:

• Receiving shipments
• Unloading shipment and putting products & materials away
• Correctly picking, packing and labelling orders according to customer requirements, priorities and specified schedules & deadlines
• Preparing product for shipments
• Building and wrapping skids
• Loading and unloading shipments onto vehicles and trucks
• Prepacking items in preparation for promotions and large order volumes
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organized
• Assisting with counting and recording inventory
• Following safety protocol at all times
• Performing other functions as required by the business – assisting in other areas as required

The ideal candidate:

• Is detail oriented
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is computer literate
• Has basic math skills
• Has good verbal and written communication skills
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Can lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and 50 + lbs occasionally.
• Is flexible to work evenings and weekends
